ONE SELF . ONE TRIBE . ONE GAIA

Two years ago, Leslie started her Foundation, One Gaia, which brings children together as one people through music, dance, arts and sports. One Gaia empowers children in need by giving them a source of focus and a sense of purpose, offering them a platform to explore and express their innate talents with top professionals in related fields so they can share their light with the world.

The first country that One Gaia worked with was the Philippines. Leslie visited the Aetas people of Bataan at Christmas 2019. Since then, she has been working with renowned producer Vehnee Saturno, who now proudly sits as the trusted partner of One Gaia in the Philippines.

Throughout the Covid pandemic, One Gaia supported children in need by donating tablets for remote learning. One Gaia rebuilt various schools that were ravaged by Typhoon Odette and offered school supplies to students for their return to school. Since last summer, Leslie has also been working with Everlasting Hope, a centre for children with cancer based in Cebu.

She holds monthly online and in person sessions in arts and music. A typical session would see her reading stories to the children, singing songs, and letting the children draw whilst she plays piano live. The children most often end up dancing to her music.
